Well that sucks! Lol changing to high frame rate goes to 1080 then back to 1080 60 and NOT 4K. ITS GOOD to create a custom menu page , Add canon log, custom shooting c1-c3, customize quick controls, hdmi display , battery info, format card, movie croping, etc etc My scenes stay within these ranges so thats why i set to these for the preset Then i added c1-c3 ( no auto update) C1 -clog3 4k 23.98 1/60 f4 3200 iso C2 - clog3 4k 60 1/125 f2.8 3200 iso C3- clog 3 1080p 60 And manual sits at standard 1080p 24/60fps So say you were in c1, shooting clog3 4k 23.98fps, then You wanted some clog3 1080p 120fps. So you enable it Well when you disable 120fps, and it reverts back to 1080p, just toggle back to C1 and viola back to your original settings. Doing whatever you programed Just KNOW that you need to go into each c1, c2,c3 and set the settings the way you want them. Thats why the custom menu comes into clutch to get you in/out of your settings! Especially if your like me who modified the icon screen, custom buttons, and dials 🙏🏽

For the Canon R7, the native ISO for CLOG is 800. Can I make it lower when shooting outdoors?

Thank you for this. Liked and subscribed! I just got my R8 and feeling a little regret for not being able to afford better RF lenses. I have the super old Canon 7D, which is an aps-c. I use EF and EFS lenses on the R8 for now. I attended the free workshop at Canon and the trainer said I need a hot shoe adapter to use my old flash on the R8. I went home, put on my old flash on it, it works fine. Now I wonder, why did he say that? Would appreciate if you can explain to me when will I actually need the hot show adapter? What is different with the R8 hot shoe?

woww you really made a video of it, thank you so much man😊, I'm actually using my r10 to shoot wedding videos with my sigma 18-35 f1.8 (which I really love the lens and it's the only lens I need for a whole day shooting a wedding, although it's only for apsc camera, and no other lens like it is built for full frame) so I'm planning to buy the r8 and still be able to use the lens foe video, but for photos I'd better buy a full frame lens and shoot on full frame, thanks again man really appreciate it🙏🏻😊

I have this lens, with a Canon EF-mount conversion, not an adaptor. Works fine, camera just always states aperture as zero.

I use those filters and they are great, as you can see in the few videos I have on my channel. However, because they are so small, they are sometimes very difficult to remove safely and I worry about scratching the camera lens. The other problem is that the magnets are not strong enough to hold any lens firmly as they constantly move around and even when the camera head is moved into place it takes some time to close perfectly and makes some strange sounds which gives me the feeling the lens is going to get some scratches soon. These problems are not related to the filters but to the design chosen by DJI for the installation of the filters. The K&F Concept ND filters are awesome and totally recommend it.

Do you use a LUT as a base when you start color grading these videos? Do you have a youtube video on how to best color grade clog? ☺️

This didn't work for me at all, there was no option to update through the app. Had to download it on a PC and put it on the SD card they old fashioned way

excellent video man, really informative, can you please make a video for the Canon r8 video comparison between 4k full frame vs in crop mode using the same lens (is it any sharper?), since the sony has a crop mode 4k and it's actually sharper than in full frame mode, because technically 4k is only 8.3 megapixels and when in crop mode it only uses only 10 megapixels rather than 24 megapixels in full frame mode, 10mp is closer to 8mp (4k) and the camera should use less processing power to record, I'm just curious😂

great vid, esp. the preference around 2 crop VS 2 FF, I have the R7, looking for another camera, and wondering which way to go as the R6 mkII was on my shopping list! It could still work of course, I have a long studio (10m+) that makes framing both sensors a little easier but food for thought! I'm going to wait for a few more canon announcements before pulling the trigger...or moving to Sony!!

Here you are shooting at 24 frames per second, but I don't have a film projector that will accurately display 24 frames per second in the same way. I have a TV that has a screen refresh rate of 60Hz. Hence a series of questions for you; How does the TV convert your f24 frames per second into 60? Why are you and people like you tormenting people with this wild strobe? Why can’t you immediately shoot at 60, in a modern format? Are you retrograde? So listen to vinyl, ride horses! Why are you promoting this nonsense about 24 frames?! What’s easier, to remove extra frames from 60 to 30 (if you really want it) one after another, or to have the computer calculate intermediate frames from 30 to 60 with artifacts? Think about your behavior and delete the channel!
